Turkey Brine
Heather's Own Recipe!
2 Gallons cold water
2 cups whisky
2 cups kosher salt
1 cup sugar
In a large bucket combine water and remaining ingredients. Stir until disolved. Add turkey and cover. Soak 18-36 hours (the longer the better). Remove turkey from brine and dry well. Let stand covered at room temperature for one hour before putting in the oven.
